For Clinicians
Healing Hooves offers trauma-aware, relational, equine-guided experiential sessions designed to support nervous system regulation, relational awareness, and embodied presence.
Our work serves as a somatic and relational adjunct to psychotherapy and other medical care; and is intended to compliment - not replace - current forms of health treatment. We value collaborative relationships with licensed clinicians.
Within Our Scope
• Facilitated, consent-based, trauma-aware equine-guided adjunct experiences
• A focus on self-regulation, relational patterns, and embodied awareness
• A non-clinical, non-diagnostic, and supportive environment
• An emphasis on safety, pacing, agency, and choice
Not Within Our Scope
• Diagnosis, treatment, or clinical assessment of mental, emotional, or physical health conditions
• Providing psychotherapy, medical, or crisis intervention
• Replacing licensed therapeutic or medical care
Our Credentials
Kate serves as Therapeutic Facilitator and Survivor Advocate, currently completing formal certification in Equine Behavior & Management, as well as Animal-Assisted Interventions [equine-specialized]. Her facilitation is grounded in trauma-aware, consent-based practice, and informed by both formal education and lived experience.
She maintains ongoing consultation and collaboration with licensed clinicians to ensure ethical scope and appropriate coordination of care.
